City Of Ember Movie Reviews

City of ember is an adaptation movie from the same novel.It tells a story about an underground city which never seen the sun. The only light they know is from the electric lamps.The city was depend on their generator.

Ember was build by a group of scientists, architects, and engineers.They want to keep the citizens protected for generations to come.They keep all information about ember in a box. The box was set to lock for 200 years.And this box was given to the first Ember’s Mayor.And it was pass on to the next successor.But somehow the chain was broken.The box was tucked away and forgotten.

A boy named Doon Harrow (Harry Threadaway) feel that the city is start to falling apart.The city is depend on the generator as the source of energy. Doon was trying to find a way to get in the generator and try to finds out what is the problem.Doon has a friend named Lina Mayfleet (Saoirse Ronan) an orphan. She lives with his grandma and her little sister.

Today is the day where they will be geting their job replacement. Doon wanted so much to be the place in the generator section. But instead he get the messanger job. So he switch his job with Lina who get the job as pipeworks laborer.So he can’t get near the generator and check what is really happening to the generator.

Doon finds that there is something strange in the pipe construction map.He find a strange tunnel.And in the same time Lina has to deliver some strange message to the mayor.She also see a man who just came back from the dark place and say that he heard water. Lina told Doon about this matter.They agreed to check on this.

Doon and Lina finds out that Mayor Cole (Bill Murray) is keeping the food supplies for himself.While outside the citizens were running out of foods.The Mayor caught them in the act, he ordered his mens to catch them.But they managed to escape.

Doon and Lina believes that in the upperground there is something that might be a hope for Ember.So both of them risk their live to go upstairs and search for hope before the lights go out forever. Somehow their parents also once has try to seek another place before the generator power crisis.So now they continue what their parents are fighting for.

Its an interesting movie.The movie has a stunning plot and amazing adventure.It served you a different kind of trilogy movie unlike Harry Pooters or Lord of The Rings .
