Death Note is adaptation of famous Japanese manga with the same title.The animated movie series is also has been made in Japan. Now it comes the real action movie.

The story is about the god of death (shinigami). Every shinigami own a notebooks called Death Note. Ryuku one of the shinigami accidentally dropped his book down to earth. The book was found by a boy named Yagami Raito (Tatsuya Fujiwara).

Yagami was aboy who hates what his world has become now, he saw injustice, crimes, and violence everywhere. He dream of peace in the world, world without fear and violence,

The books has the power to takes live. Everyone whose name is written in the book will be death in short time, the cause and time of death also can be devine by the writer.When Yagami found the book he doesn’t realize about its power yet, until one day he accidentally wrote one of a criminal’s name in the book.He realize that the book can be usefull for his purpose of bringing peace to the world.So he starts killing many criminals who was released from his crimes because the government can’t find any prove about their crimes.Yagami use fake names in his action, he called himself KIRA.

Kira’s action brings pro and contra.Some people are glad of what he is doing in cleaning the world from bad guys, and some people thinks that criminals are also human and they have human rights and Kira’s action is also a criminal act, so he must be catch.

The Japanese Police and detective are in pursuit of Kira. Strange happening that related to something supernatural makes them hard to catch Kira.

Until L (Kenichi Matsuyama) came, L was one of the best detective in Japan, he never shows himself in front of public, he only speak to the others through his assistant. And so the chasing begin. Will L L be able to catch Kira ? It’s the mystery that you must see on your own.

Though the movie story a liitle bit different than the original story of the manga, the movie is worth to watch.
