The story starts when a cocky little shaolin boy named Kung Fu (Takashi Sasano) has won his 35 winning in the martial arts competition. His teacher see that this boy is very gifted but he is to cocky. To get the highest level of shaolin martial arts. He must win 36 times.
He was sent by his teacher to master Ping Gou the leader of shaolin temple. Ping Gou ask Kung Fu what is his purpose in learning martial arts, Kung Fu said that to be the number one man in the world of martial arts, his answer reflect his cockyness, so Kung Fu was sent to Japan to finish his 36 match and learn what is the real meaning in learning martial arts.
Kung Fu meet Miss.He Quan, she own a restaurant in japan, she bring Kung Fu with her because he didn’t have any place to stay and he can’t speak Japanese. And Kung Fu stay there while wait for his 36 chalenger comes.
