IP Man (Donnie Yen) being challenged by master Liao (Chen Zhi Hui) who just set up a wushu school, in a close match.Martial Zealot Lin (Xing Yu) who witnessed the entire fight tells everyone about master Liao losing.Seeing it as a public humiliation, master Liao gets into disputes with Ip Man. Henchmen of Jin Shan Zhao (Fang Siu Wong) are going around challenging various wushu schools in Foshan.In one fight, martial Zealot Lin is mortally wounded.Ip Man comes to his rescue,only to be stopped by Jin Shan Zhao.Ip Man defeat Jin Shan Zhao.

Not long after that Japan come to china and colonize it. Hunger and poverty happens everywhere, Ip Man life has become difficult.He must work as a labour just to get money and food for his family.Until one day when he was working on the field someone came and offer a fight for lots of food.

The Japanese commander is arranging a competition between Japanese martial art and the Chinese kungfu.Ip Man was not interested on it.Until he met master Liao there.Master Liao won many fight, but he was killed when he loss against three men in one match, Liao has given up but instead of letting go he was shot to death by the Japanese admiral.Ip Man lost his patient and come up to the fight.He challenged ten men in one fight and won absolute winning.

The Japanese commander is interested in Ip man fighting skill, he want to set a match with him in front of all Chinese people in order to humiliate him to drop the Chinese’s spirit.Will Ip Man answer this challenge ? Will he win ? Will China be able to rise from the colonization ? Watch it.

If you like Chinese kungfu movie, this one you should not miss.Great action fight, great story.Donnie Yen never look so very wise.Actually the story is taken from the real event that is happen in China, Ip Man is one of the Martial Artist who is well known in his age.
