It begins when a space ship fell in to earth to the vikings island.The ship is bringing two kru in it.As the ship crash into the river, one of the kru is dead,but the other one manage to survive.His name is Kainan (Jim Caviezel).
He sent a coordinate of the crash ship to the headquarter to pick him up.While waiting for the coming Kainan observed the surrounding.While observing he was caught up by a group of vikings, Wulfric (Jack Huston) the leader of this group take him to his village as a prisoner.
Kainan was captivied there.Wulfric ask Kainan wether if he is the one who cause Gunnar (Ron Perlman) village is destroyed.Kainan said “No” and Kainan said that he came to earth just to hunt for the dragon.
Wulfric laugh at him and beats him. Kainan meets Freya (Sophia Myles) ,Boromir’s (Cliff saunders) head of the tribes daughter in the barn where he was tied.While Wulfric is looking out for the truth that make Gunnar village is attack and destroyed.Gunnar thinks that Boromir’s tribes who cause it.
Kainan tries to escape from his captivity.By taking advantage of Freya.But his plan didn’t work and got captured again.And at the second times he tries to escape, the village was attack by a monster.And kainan failed again in his effort to escape.
Boromir and Wulfric start to believe what Kainan said about the dragon after what is happening in his village.And he ask Kainan what he knew about this creature.
The creature was called Moorwen in Kainan’s Planet.Kainan was a soldier in his planet.They are always search for new land.Until oneday they find Moorwen’s planet,But the beast can’t live with other being.So Kainan tribes wipes out all the Moorwens with super weapon.When they think that the planet is clean.
One of the Moorwen managed to survive.And revenge to them.Kainan family also killed by Moorwen.Somehow the Moorwen is get in Kainan ship and made the ship crash to earth.After Kainan tells all he knew about Moorwen.Boromir decide to kill Moorwen under kainan advice.So they work together and set a trap to cath the Moorwen.And as the story goes, love is grow between Freya and kainan.
This movie is fantastic with incredible action.The visual effect is also not too bad.The story is interesting.This is a movie about the tradition battle of vikings with Monster.The story is full of surprises.Its a great movie to watch.
